I’m having trouble importing a recipe from my drop box and sync my phone with my tablet. What am I missing. I used to do it now I cant. I may be missing a step. I have a folder in drop box named recipes and a folder on my phone named recipes. I just put a new recipe in my recipe folder on drop box. All others have been removed to save space but I can’t add that recipe to my tablet or phone
Hi Sandi, you have to put your files into the directory App/MyCookBook on your dropbox account. My CookBook is allowed to access only this directory
My Drop box is full and I can’t dump the old stuff. How can I sync?
Sync to Google drive would be nice. I don’t like Dropbox
Maybe one day, we will find some time…

This feature is a great way for a family to share all the families recipes old and new. Great way to keep up to date and makes shopping easy when you are the person at the store and need to get the ingredients!
Let’s kids and grandkids in laws & outlaws all have access to secret family recipes… Lol…
I have over 10000 recipes in mycookbook.com website. I have exported them and imported them into another program. I cannot import them into mycookbook.com android. mycookbook.com android stops and closes during import. any thoughts as to how this can be corrected? Thanks
Maybe try to import less recipes in one time. There may be out of memory errors on your android device if you are importing large files
I have muy recipes in my cook book un muy android device, muy cuestión is how do I get muy password? So I will be able to syncronize vía dropbox my other android device in wich I installed the app, but doesn’t sync one another.

Hi, I followed your instructions on linking my backup files to dropbox but it is not working. It is still saving onto my sd card. Am I doing something wrong?
I am now having to email myself the backup file, then downloading the file and then saving it to dropbox under the file app folder.
Maybe you can try to disconnect the app from Dropbox (in the settings) and try again ? If you still have some issue please submit a request on https://mycookbook.zendesk.com. Thanks
