Hi. I recently upgraded to a Galaxy tab 3 and attempted to import/export my cookbook from my laptop. I exported as a .txt file, copied it to my SD card in the My Cookbook directory then tried to import it to my tablet using “import all” and the prompt flashes but the file doesn’t import. I ‘ve tried deleting and recreating the txt file, even tried uninstalling and reinstalling My Cookbook with the same results. Can someone help please?
Hi Dennis, how have you created your txt file ?
When I try to export recipe to drop box from tablet, I get the following message: this app not authenticated. Which app, drop box or my cookbook, and why? Been using both apps with no problem till now.

So, I’ve been trying to import my recipis from my computer & nothing I do seems to work. I have the.mx2 file in the directory on my sd card, I go to the import but it says no file found. I would really like to be able to use this program, but if I can’t get it to import the file, it’s useless.
Hi, did you put your file in the right directory? You can see the path in the settings of the app
When importing from allrecipes.com, the ingredients are not appearing. Then only thing in the ingredients screen is the yield. I’m using pro version on RAZR maxx hd phone.
Hi –
I can’t seem to import my Mastercook recipes to my Galaxy S4. I have Mycookbookpro and I exported my files as a .mx2. I placed it on the SD Card in the MyCookBook directory. When I try to import a file it shows a file called “MyCookbook_Backup_2013-07-30.xml” and when I try to import it I click yes but no recipes show up in the app. It just says “no recipe found…etc”
Hi,
You should see your .mx2 file in the list on the File Import / Export page.
If not maybe you have not put your file in the right directory ?
You can view the path in the settings of the app : “My CookBook Backup Directory”
Using Nook HD+ tablet- can’t get my recipes from Mastercook to the tablet. My Cookbook file shows on the tablet in Nook library/My Files for the device but does not show up when I plug it into my laptop to transfer files. My Cookbook files are not on the SD card. I want to upgrade to My Cookbook Pro but this app is worthless to me if I can’t import my Mastercook recipes.
Hi Laura, Have you put your file in the right directory ? You can see the path in the settings of the app.
