AI credits give you access to Cookmate’s smart features. Each month, you receive a fresh batch of credits that you can use across all our AI-powered tools—helping you save time and get more creative in the kitchen.
How Are Credits Used?
Here’s how your credits are spent:
- Import a recipe with AI — 1 credit per recipe
Import a recipe from a website. The AI automatically organizes the ingredients and steps for you. It’s especially useful when standard import methods fail, such as with recipes from social media. - Cook with ChatGPT — 1 credit per image
Create unique and delicious recipes with your AI Chef, powered by ChatGPT. - Generate an image — 40 credits per recipe
Create an image to illustrate your recipe. This feature uses more credits because it requires more processing. - Scan a recipe — 1 credit per scanned area
Scan your paper or take a photo and use our recipe scanner to import your recipe into your digital cookbook.

Useful information
- Credits automatically renew every month
- Free users receive 50 credits, while Premium users receive 500 credits
- If you run out of credits, Cookmate will automatically switch to alternative free methods when available (such as importing recipes without AI or basic recipe scanning)
