Our server is still down. We don’t know yet the impacts on our servers and data.
We are waiting on OVH news and working on a recovery solution

Unfortunately, the cookmate server and his data were destroyed by the fire and are non recoverable…
A backup of the server was done on tuesday 9 mars. But OVH is currently not able to say if it will be recoverable. We will have the information once the datacentres are back up and running. It can take two weeks…
But I was able to restore a backup of the database dated from March 1st. I have created a new server with these data and I plan to make it running on Monday. If you can’t wait, I can send you a link to my test server. You will be able to see your recipes online.
If you have created an account after the 1st March, you will have to register again…
If a more recent backup of the database is recoverable in the future by OVH, I will let you know and we will find a way to restore the missing data.
When everything is back in order, I will review my backup procedures of course so that this does not happen again.
Premium users will receive a free month

The website https://www.cookmate.online is up with the database from March 1st .
If some recipes are missing online but you still have them on your mobile app, you can edit them on your app (just tap on edit and save) and run again a synchronization. It will upload again the recipe on the server. I will update the Android app to fix this issue.
Here is what must be done :
- Restore the Premium subscription of the users who have upgraded between 1 and 10 March : In process
- Add one free month to all premium users
- Restore the Alexa and Google Home features
- Update the Android app to fix sync issues

- All services (website, Alexa and Google Home feature) are up and running !
- Premium subscriptions of the users who have upgraded between 1 and 10 March were restored or refunded (if the user account was lost…)
- We have extended all Premium subscriptions by one month.
- A new release of the Android app is available and fix sync issues
I have still no news about the backup of the server that was done on tuesday 9 mars.

Hallo, die Bilder die ich für meine Rezepte gespeichert hatte sind nur noch auf dem Handy sichtbar. Ich hatte die Rezepte über bearbeiten -> speichern wieder auf allen Geräten aktualisiert, aber dabei hat er die Bilder leider nicht übernommen. Gibt es da noch einen Trick, damit sie wieder überall sichtbar sind? Danke im Voraus.

Can’t log in at all! Box many times to I have to accept cookies? So far have lost all my data. You have to redesign your app so that backups can be done on at least on the scandisk. To much one sided control

Anyone can backup their recipes from the website using this page https://www.cookmate.online/recipes/export/.
If you are using the Android app, recipes are also saved on your device.
The database of the server is backed up from now every day on different places !

If you have some issue with the Android app, could you try to update the Android Webview app? There was an issue with this app this week : https://www.xda-developers.com/google-confirms-webview-issue-crashing-android-apps/
J’aimerais savoir pourquoi et comment COOK MATE a prélevé sur mon compte bancaire une somme qui m’a ensuite été reversée alors que je n’ai jamais souscrit d’abonnement et que je n’ai jamais transmis mes coordonnées bancaires !!!!???

Nous n’effectuons pas de prélèvements bancaires, et nos abonnements ne se renouvellent pas automatiquement. Nous acceptons uniquement les paiements paypal et Carte bleue.
Si vous n’avez pas effectué vous même ce paiement, peut être s’agit il de quelqu’un dans votre entourage ?
Suite à l’incendie chez notre hébergeur, j’ai perdu les comptes créés entre le 1er et 10 mars. J’ai donc effectué des remboursements pour les paiements que j’ai reçu concernant ces comptes…

I notice that it was a problem seeing my receipts, but now seems to be OK. In this moment I just have problem with loading the images from my receipts.
One question I have for you. Can you go back to the name of My Cook Book? It was way much better than My Cookmate! It was easier to remember, it was more logical. Thank you!

Sorry to hear about the fire. We were able to access our recipes via the app during this unfortunate event. Glad you managed to get back online as it’s a great place to store all my recipes and was delighted to see you back today just as I’m planning my next week’s menu 🙂

Sad that this happened. I wasn’t affected too terribly, as I haven’t recently uploaded any new recipes, but I did notice a bit of a blip with sync issues. I appreciate your work to make it right, and get things back. Really enjoy your app and service, thanks for what you do to make it great.

OVH servers won’t be restarted before Monday March 15… We are working on a recovery solution !
I can see all my recipes online but not on the app on iOS.
